These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Auto Inspecto, a map-based directory that helps people find independent car inspectors ("Auto Experts") before buying a car abroad. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these Terms.
1. What Auto Inspecto is
Auto Inspecto is a discovery platform. We show Auto Expert profiles on a map with contact details so you can reach them directly. We do not arrange inspections, handle payments between you and an Auto Expert, or guarantee the quality of any inspection. Any agreement, payment, or work you do with an Auto Expert happens entirely off-platform, between you and them.
2. Accounts
You need an account to see an Auto Expert's phone number and social links, and to apply to become an Auto Expert yourself. You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for anything that happens under your account. You must give us accurate information and keep your email address able to receive mail from us.
3. Auto Expert profiles
If you apply to become an Auto Expert, the details you submit (bio, coverage area, phone numbers, social links) may be shown publicly or to signed-in users, and are reviewed by an administrator before appearing on the map. We can reject, suspend, or remove a profile that looks fake, abusive, or misleading, or that we can no longer verify.
4. Acceptable use
Don't use Auto Inspecto to scrape or resell our data, impersonate someone else, post false or misleading information, harass another user, or try to bypass our moderation or security. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these rules.
5. No liability for off-platform dealings
We don't vet Auto Experts beyond basic moderation, and we're not a party to whatever you agree with one. We're not liable for the quality of an inspection, any payment dispute, or anything else that happens once you leave the platform to talk to an Auto Expert.
6. Content you submit
You keep ownership of anything you submit (bio, photos, messages to us), but you give us permission to display it on the site as part of the normal operation of the service. Don't submit anything you don't have the right to share.
7. Changes
We may update these Terms as the product changes. We'll post the new version here with an updated date; continuing to use Auto Inspecto after that means you accept the changes.
